KING'S COMPANIONS

YACHT LEAVES FOR MALTA

LONDON, August 2.

The luxury yacht Nahlin, in which the King is to spend a holiday, flying the blue pennant of the Royal Thames Yacht Club, departed for Malta. The King is expected to join the yacht there on August 10, by air from London.

The King, after an inspection, decided to have the library transformed into his own stateroom. The equipment will also include a gymnasium. The King's fellow-travellers on the Nahlin will include Lord and Lady Mountbatten, the Earl of Dudley, Lady Cunard, the Secretary for War, Mr. A. Duff Cooper, and Lady Diana Cooper! and Lord and Lady Brownlow.

The officers and crew are wearing new uniforms and boots.
