DUNEDIN, This Day. _With fairly heavy falls of show overnight the Carisbrook Ground was well covered ihis morning. The weather is now fine and sawdust will be laid, but the surface will be sloppy. The inward train traffic from Southland, Otago Central, and the Catlins district this morning totalled over 5000 persons. It is estimated' that 2000 arrived last evening, a large proportion of them by road. Between 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. there was a procession of cars from the south along Princes Street, reminding one of a race meeting. An attendance of 25,000 is expected at the match. There was a big. queue before ■11 o'clock. '
