NURSES MEET
The Wellington South Nursing Division spent a very interesting evening recently. Members of other divisions attended.
Sister Wells demonstrated bed-mak-ing for, various cases of sickness, the changing of sheets and arranging of pillows, washing the patient and applying hot packs, the making of a pneumonia jacket, and application of a manytailed bandage for abdominal support. Mrs. Preston thanked Sister Wells for her very interesting demonstration, and Mrs. Gaby (Lady Corps Superintendent) also expressed thanks on behalf of visiting divisions. Miss Peach was presented with her service chevron. Duties were arranged for the opening of the museum on August 1. Letters were read from the Brooklyn and Wellington SuburbanNursing Divisions, also one from Dr. Line, wishing the division success in its efforts to raise money to send a team to England next year. Dr. Line also generously promised a donation.
Coloured gloves look much smarter then they sound, provided that the ensemble worn with them is carefully chosen. Dusty pink gloves look well with an entirely black turnout, which has a line of pink on the belt to match the gloves. Crimson leather gloves and belt are effective with a grey frock.
