TO BORAH

NEW YORK, May 27. The Washington correspondent of the "New York Times? learns that Dr. Townsend, founder of the old age pensions plan, recently called upon Senator Borah and proposed the formation of a third party with the Senator as its nominee for President.

He assured Senator Borah of the support of old age pension plan adherents as well as some members of the late Senator Huey P. Long's "Share Our Wealth" scheme. It is not believed, however, that Senator Borah, who is an aspirant for the Republican Presidential nomination, will form an alliance with these groups.
