MASTERTON LANDS TRUST
(Special to the "Evening Post.") MASTERTON, This Day. A poll was taken in Masterton yesterday to elect three representatives on the Trust Lands Trust. The voting resulted:—A.' Owen Jones, 652; E. G Eton, 562; C. E. Grey, 484 (the above are. elected); W. L. Butler, 473; J. L. Hughes, 453. Messrs. Jones, Eton, and Hughes were-retiring members. Mr. Hughes had served in the trust continuously since 1922, and for the same period had been chairman of the education'committee. He was also an ex- , chairman of the trust. 'As 121 declaration votes have yet to be counted tiie position of the bottom candidates tnay, be altered.
