In to the fire went £1000 in notes when Ramon Ibanez, aged ninety, of El Pobo, Spain, quarrelled with three relatives to whom he had intended to leave the money. He went to the bank, withdrew his savings, and consigned them to the flames.
Six men have been sentenced to imprisonment at Wilhelmshavcn, Germany, for listening to the Moscow broadcasting station and afterwards carrying on a political discussion. ,
