OUR THEATRE, NEWTOWN.
"Curly Top," a Shirley Temple picture, is showing at Our Theatre. It is a charming story of a little girl who captures the heart of a lonely bachelor and makes both their dreams come true. John Boles is cast as the bachelor who adopts Shirley and her big sister, Rochelle Hudson. His generosity takes them from the drab and dreary atmosphere of an orphanage to the sunny summer surroundings of a palatial home in Southampton. There the romance of Boles and Miss Hudson flourishes under the guidance of little Shirley. The second attraction is "The Pointing Finger," starring John Stuart.
