EMPIRE THEATRE, ISLAND BAY.
"Brown on Resolution" is the current attraction at the Empire Theatre. Packed with thrills and drama, the story is one of naval adventure on Resolution Island during the Great War. This is the first film in which the full cooperation of the British Admiralty was successfuly sought. John Mills, Betty Balfour, and Barry MacKay head a large cast. An excellent supporting programme precedes the main attraction. On Wednesday and Thursday "Servants' Entrance," starring Janet Gaynor and Lew Ayres, is to be screened. • • ■ .
