Lady Findlay, Wellington, is the guest of Mrs. I. Duncan, Totarapuka, Wanganui East. Mrs. M. M. Hovey, lecturer and traveller, of Auckland, who has been in the United States of America for the past six months, arrived in Wellington this morning by the R.M.S. Makura. She is the guest of Mrs. R. Wood, Freyberg Street, Lyall Bay. Mrs. M. McConochie, of Glenhope, Nelson, is the guest of the Misses Hayes, The Terrace. Mr. Justice Fair and Mrs. Fair, Remuera, Auckland, are visitors to Wellington and are staying at Sayes Court. Mrs. Duncan McKay, who has been the guest of Mr. and Mrs. F. A. Knight, "Waratai," Karehana Bay, Plimmerton, for a few days, has returned to Wellington. Mrs. W. L. Page, Seatoun, who has been the guest of Mrs. Eric Cox, Devonport, . Auckland, left on Friday for Rotorua and Taupo en route to Wellington. Miss K. Orlebar, Dunedin, is the guest of Mrs. W. R. Graham, Abbott Road, Ngaio. ' Mrs. T.--H. Lowry, Hawke's Bay, and her daughter, Mrs. Bettington, of Sydney, who have been in Auckland for the races, have returned to Hawke's Bay. Chalmers, Wellington, who has been visiting Auckland for the races, has returned home. Mrs. M. Domb, Watson Street, accompanied by her daughter, Ruth, has returned to Wellington after spending the holidays in New Plymouth. Mrs. Herbert J. Aitken, Wellington, is visiting her nieces, the Misses Mona and Melva Elliott, Hamilton. Miss Wood, Huddersfield, Yorkshire, arrived by the Orama on an extended visit to New Zealand, and is at present the guest of Mrs. W. R. Graham, Abbott Road, Ngaio. Lady Sandeman Allen is a passenger by the Remuera, which is due in Wellington from England on January 18. t Miss Madge Mathews, Wellington, is the guest of Miss Natalie Danks, Christcliurch.
