UPPER HUTT LEAGUE
The results of the first, round of the knock-out competition conducted by the Hutt Valley Cricket League are as follows: —
Methodist, 25 (McKay 59, McCrea 44, McCarthy 44, Gibbons 34, Scott 34), defeated Trentham. 100 (Christensen 36, Francis 23) and 87 for seven wickets. Maori Bank Colts. 185 (Proine 43, Auckram 35, Tucker 27 not out), defeated Upper Hutt, 95 (Auld 27, M. McGhie 25). , ~ . The final between Methodist and Colts will be played next Saturday at 2 p.m. on Maidstone Park. Colts will be represented by Irvine. Shertqn, Smith, Auckram, Dunn. Tomhn. Tucker. N. McGhie, V. McGhie, Cooper. King, Harper (emergency).
