"STORMY."
Nature ran riot in the mesas and canyons of Nevada. The Painted Desert is famous throughout the world for its beauty- of colour and for its wild grandeur of form. Henry Macßae had long planned to make a.i outdoor feature which would captun the graphic thrill and matchless beauty of this wonder of Nature. The opportunity came when Universal bought Cherry Wilson's novel "Stormy," and all Macßae had to do was to fit his actors into this natural setting. The entire picture was made on location and there isn't one single studio shot. "Stormy" relates the story of a wild horse, a homeless wanderer who loves . horses better than life itself, and a group of homely folk whose lives are curiously affected by the wild horse. A sensational climax is afforded when a herd of more than 5000 wild horses stampede during a primitive conflict. The cast includes Noah Beery, jun., Jean Rogers, J. Farrell Mac Donald, Raymond Hatton, and Rex, the wild horse. -
