TRAFFIC OFFENDERS
MAGISTRATE'S COURT
Several offenders against the city bylaws were dealt with by Mr. E. D. Mosley, S.M., in the Magistrate's Court today. * •
Frank Campbell was fined 5s and costs for passing another car on an intersection.
For parking over a fire plug, Lionel Bennet Chalklen was fined 5s and costs.
John Douglas Grace Duncan was fined 5s and costs for parking at a tram stop.
For driving at night without lights, Robert Miller was fined 10s and costs.
Arthur F. Martin was fined £1 and costs for dangerous driving. On a charge of negligent driving, Roland Walter Neilson was convicted and ordered to pay costs. Bertie Smith was fined £1 10s and costs for dangerous driving. For driving at night without lights, Albert Churchill Truscott was fined 5s and costs.
Ken Ely was fined £1 and costs for having no heavy traffic licence. For failing to signal when drawing out from the kerb, Albert Henry Barnes was convicted and ordered to pay costs.
Harold James Clive Brown was fined £1 and costs for driving past a stationary tram. For driving without a licence, Roy Davis Belt was fined 10s and costs.
Alex. Armstrong was fined £1 and costs for failing to give way to traffic approaching on the right. Lan Douglas Stevenson was fined 5s and costs for having only one headlight on his car.
