A musical treat was given to a number of the blind of Wellington yesterday, when,.through the courtesy of Mr. R. Vinsen, of Columbia Pictures,. and the management of the Plaza Theatre, they were invited to a private screening of "Love Me Forever" ("On Wings of Love"), the new musical romance in which Miss Grace Moore is the star performer. There was a good attendance. Before the film was. screened Mr. N. Edgar, manager of the theatre, gave a brief outline of the plot of the picture. The singing of Miss- Moore and of Michael Bartlett, who is heard with her in the scene from "La Boheme," was greatly enjoyed. At the conclusion of the performance Mr. M. S. Galloway, of the Red Cross Society, who had arranged the screening, thanked Mr. Vinsen and Mr. Edgar for their generosity, remarking that he felt sure that all present were privileged indeed to be invited to hear such beautiful music and such wonderful singing. The guests were each accompanied by a friend, and representatives from the Braille Club were present.
