INTOXICATED DRIVER
PROSECUTION AT MASTERTON

MASTERTON, This Day.
Following a collision in Renall Street between a car driven by Arthur Lester Morgan, stock agent, and P. Fagan, garage proprietor, Morgan was charged today before Justices of the Peace with having been in a state of intoxication while in charge of a car. The Bench imposed a fine of £15 and suspended Morgan's licence for six months.
The Bench said that it was a growing public opinion that intoxicated motorists should be sent to gaol.
