THE DOG CHOIR
(To the Editor.)
Sir, —I' have been taking considerable interest in the newspaper reference .to the dog nuisance in Wellington. "Glenmore"'informs us that there is a considerable amount of money available to back the Orangi IKaupapa Road canine melody makers against Rolleston and Bidwill Streets. One must admit the bet is a good gamble. I have heard the Orangi Kaupapa pack two miles away against the wind. Where the residents would empty their money boxes and give odds against all-comers is Lower Hutt. The residential area .knows as Woburn is forming a committee "to wait on the council asking it to change the name to "Wow-burn." Why people put up with all thiS-noise is beyond me. A civil action for public nuisance cannot help but be successful. It is time for humanity to be given consideration. il am, etc., RODNEY.
