Fur Tor, a four-year-old, by Apelle from Leigh ton "Tor, arid in ' foal to Plaritago— a brother to Myosotis/ who is: coming to the Dominion to take up stud duties in I Canterbury next season—made 5600 guineas, and the seven-year-old- liiliuin, by.Gainsborougli—AVild Uru'm, ' also in' foal •to j Plantago, realised 4500 guineas. Miss Tor, by Sausoviuo—teighton Tor, was sold for 2800 guineas, and Saddle Tor, by Hurry On—Leighton Tor. for- 2600 guineas.- Everlasting, by Phalaris and in foal to Sandpvich, was sold for 3000 guineas.
