In . connection with the farewell visit of the Governor-General to Falmerston North, the Mayor (Mr. A. E. Mansford) reported to the Palmefston North City Council that his Excellency would arrive at Palmerston North between 11.30 a.m. and noon on February 15, and that it was proposed to tender him a civic luncheon, commencing at 12.45 p.m. (states "The Post's" Palmerston North correspondent). A public function would be held subsequently at the Band Rotunda in the Square. >
