PALMERSTON NORTH AGREES

PALMERSTON N., This Day. .. The Palmerston North school committees have fallen in with the proposal of the Hon. S. G. Smith, Minister of Education, that schools should be closed during hot afternoons, and at a meeting of committees and headmasters last evening it was decided to review the position next Monday. Meanwhile schools in Palmerston North will assemble at 8.30 a.m.. and dismiss at 12.30 a.m.
