ARBITRATION COURT

VACANT JUDGESHIP

I As the result of the appointment of Mr. Justice Frazer to the -deputy chairmanship of the Executive Commission of Agriculture, the Government will have to consider the appointment of a new Judge of the Arbitration Court in the near future. While Mr. Justice Frazer, was acting chairman of the Dairy Commission, his Arbitration Court duties were carried on by Mr. Justice Blair, but such an arrangement could not be made permanent as there are already complaints that members.of the Supreme Court Bench are being overworked.-

It is understood that the Government's choice of a new Arbitration Court Judge will come from Messrs. E. Page, S.M., and J. S. Barton, S.M.
