"The Long Day Closes' (Sullivan) was thoughtfully rendered by the choir. The quartet, "Come, Gentle Night" (Keith), sung by Mrs. Pritchard, Miss Stevens, Messrs. .T. R. and D. 3S. Keith, jun.. was well rendered. In the part-song "The Sea Hath Its Pearls (Pinsuti) the choir was at times ragged. "The Londonderry Air" was another popular item by the choir. The solo artists who assisted were Mrs. Eamsoy. who sang "Gretchen at the Spinning Wheel" (Schubert) and "Song- of the Open" (la Forge); as encores she sang "Lorraine, Lorraine, Lorree" (Spross) and "German Slumber Song" (Anon.).
