COMBINED DANCE

A very successful and enjoyable dance was held on Saturday evening by the Zcalandia and Fleet Printing Companies. Miss Gwentho Walshe's Studio in "The Post" Building was charmingly decorated for the occasion, violet and green being the predominating shades. Mrs. E. Mason, who wore a frock of turquoise blue crinkled georgette and cream organdie lace, acted as hostess. Popular music by an excellent orchestra was fully appreciated and interspersed witli various novelty dances, community singing being a fea- | Uirc. The winners of various dances were .•is follows: —"Air Eaid," Mrs. Mason and Mr. Toms; "Doll Dance," Miss Hheerin uud Mr. Shepherd; "Pass Checks," Mrs. Wickes and Mr. Grantham; "Spinning Wheel," Mr. Clarke and Miss Drysdale; "Eaee Game," Mr. and Mrs. Jacobs; "Pour Lucky Programme Numbers," Miss Drysdale, Mrs. Shepherd, Mr. Zander, Mr. Eeay. "Balloon," "Paul Jones," "Streamer," Excuse Me" dances were also featured. Mr. R. Mason was M.C. Mr. Ivan Perrin and Mr. Turnbull entertained at the piano with several musical novelties. Among those present were Mesdames E. Mason, E.
