The Suburbs Defence Kitle CTuT) lired- its second pructice match o£ the season, ovtr 500 yds, at Trentham on Saturday. Contrary to expectations, the weather conditions wove not difficult. The moderately strong rear wind had no deception about it, and any change in direction or strength could be quickly discerned and allowed for. The scores arc small indication. 01 the' merits of the shooting, as the majority of the members wore testing new n-iflet-, sifjhts. etc, Several new members have commenced shooting this year and have shown definite promise, particularly Wilkinson.
