RAROTONGA'S CHARMS
Itarotonga as a holiday resort h;is an enthusiastic advocate in Mr. W. Simm, of Wellington, who returned by the Makura today after an absence of six weeks. "It is a trip I can thoroughly recommend to anyone who wishes to escape the rigours of the New Zealand winter," he said. "My impressions of Rarotonga are extremely happy. The white people there aro very friendly, and the natives are a delightful, laughing, happy people. There is no begging on. the island. The roads aro good, and there aro over 200 motor-ears. Every hospitality is-ex-tended, to visitors. The fact that it is New Zealand territory is an added inducement for Now Zealanders to make the trip, and onco thorn Ihey will lie loath to lravp."
