TO OPPOSE MR. FORBES
(By Telegraph—l'ress Association.) CHEISTCHUKCH, October 15. Dr. Frank Birkinshaw, of Amberley, is almost certain to be the Labour candidate to oppose the Prime Minister for the Hurunui seat. Dr. Birkinshaw has been approached and has consented to stand, but has yet to be formally approved by the Labour Party. Approval is stated to be practically certain, however.
