WADESTOWN GATHERING
A largely attended gathering of the Wadestowh Garden Society was held in 'the parish' hall recently, Mr. T. E. Y. Seddon presiding.. \,
Presentations';were made to Mrs. S. McPherson, Mii Herbert Baillie, and Mr. W. H. Allen in■; appreciation of their services to the Garden Society. Bouquets were also handed,to Mesdames Allen Baillie and McPherfeon by little Shirley Gordon.
The following, contributed to a most enjoyable musical programme:—Mes-dames-P. J.Townley, Turner, .Harding, Miss Dulcie- Stafford, Master Een ,MeDonaia, and Mr. Jack Withers. ' Miss M. Withers and Mrs. Eames ably prayed the accompaniments. ■'• '. . . •A dainty supper was served by the ladies' committee, convened by Mrs. Sirett. -.■■■-. ■■-■.;
