METHODIST CHURCH

The Rev. F. E. Leadlcy presided over a good attendance of officials at tlie circuit quarterly meeting of the Wellington Kast Methodist Circuit. The number of senior members on the roll was reported to be 314. The financial statement showed that income had exceeded expenditure for the quarter. Reports on youth work'were, very satisfactory. .Reports on the come to church campaigns were also regarded a« satisfactory.

Arrangements were made for the an' nual appeal on behalf of the Masterton Children's Home.

The Revs. F. E. Lcadley and H. C. Matthews both accepted a unanimous invitation to labour in the circuit for another year.

Mr. J. Walker, an accredited local preacher from Auckland, was received, and his name was authorised to be placed on the plan. Messrs. H. Hampton, F, J. W. Fear, and T. Hindlc'were elected to represent the circuit at Synod. Mr. N. Allen Hunt, A.R.A.X.Z., was reappointed circuit auditor. Letters of. sympathy were directed to be sent to bereaved members.
