REEVES OUTPOINTS BOLTON

(By Telegraph—Press Association.)

MASTERTON, October 12.

Harold Reeves (Pahiatua), list 101b, scored a points decision over Jim Bolton (Master-ton), 12st 71b, in'a ten rounds professional boxing match at Masterton tonight before a packed house. The bout, which was characterised by hard, rugged fighting, was marred to some, extent by too much clinching. The early stages were tame, but the light improved as it progressed, and the last four rounds were packed with incident. Reeves was a fairly easy winner on points, but Bolton gave a good display.
