The New Zealand Meat Producers' Board has been advised by its London manager that the following retail prices per pound were being quoted for New Zealand lamb and mutton /etailed in London during September, 1934. These prices represent a fair average of the prices quoted by the better-class shops in London for the best quality of New Zealand lamb and mutton:—Legs, 12d; shoulders, lOd; loins, KM; necks, fid; breasts, 3d; forequarters, VAd; hindquarters, lid. Mutton (wethers): Legs, QMd; shoulders, 8d; loins, 8d; riecks, 4d; breasts, 3d.
