ADVERTISING TIMARU.
EXTENSIVE SCHEME
(By Telegraph—Press Association.) TIMARU, October 11. A meeting of citizens tonight, at which an address was given by. Mr. G. J. Stewart, publicity manager of the New Zealand Railways, decided to undertake an extensive advertising scheme for Timaru at a, cost of £350. Speakers stressed the advantages to the town from a holiday and industrial point of view, and Mr. .Stewart expressed the opinion that the town possessed advantages which were not evident at other watering places' in the Dominion.1
