ROAD CYCLING
B GRADE CHAMPIONSHIP
The Poneke Amateur Cycling Club is to hold a B grade championship time trial tomorrow at Kilbirnie, starting at 2.30 p.m. The course will, be two- circuits of the Breaker Bay cutting route, approximately 22 miles. Competitors will.be dispatched at oneminute intervals, and no pacing will be allowed. Riders who have started "off scratch and who have made fastest times during the road season. will not be allowed to compete. A sealed handicap will be run in ■conjunction with the championship. Riders' starting positions have been, drawn by the handicapper, and riders must start according tp the drawing, which is as follows:— J. Boulton, J. Piunti, M. Thomson, J. Barnsley, P. Percival, W. Doidge, C. Sparkes,, R. Griggs, J. Abel, A. Huxford, D. Evans,' R. Barber, D. Rose, R. Black, C. Aldridge, A. McHardy, R. Robson, J. Matkin, R. Ramsay, A. J. Percival, A. Plowman, R. H. Smith.
A five miles messenger boys' race is also to be held.
