SICKNESS IN DUNEDIN

SCHOOLS AFFECTED

(By Telegraph) (Special to the " Evening Post.") DUNEDIN, This Day. Influenza is prevalent among high school children in Dunedin, there having been over one hundred absentees from each of the schools during this week. Monday and Tuesday were particularly bad days. The rolls disclosed a greater number of absentees than for several years past, and it is unfortunate that illness has come at a time when preparations are being made for strenuous matriculation and other examinations at .the end of November. Headmasters have reported a fair amount of sickness in the State schools during the past week, although it is not definitely established that influenza is the complaint. Measles has made another appearance among children in the city, and quite a dozen country schools 'are affected.
