BROKEN BYLAWS
Offenders against the city bylaws and the motor regulations were dealt with by Mr. W. F. Stihvcll, S.M., in the Magistrate's Court yesterday afternoon. For exceeding the speed limit Laurence Biown was fiued £2, Philip Eyton was lined 30s, and Colin Hamilton and John Corlett Southward were each fined £1. William Chandler was convicted and ordered to pay costs lor cycling on the bitumen on the Hutt Koad. Fines of 10s each were imposed upon Thomas Gnrbctt and Lawrence Bridge for holding on to a motor vehicle while cycling, and upon Kobert Kobson • tor holding on to a tram. For allowing stock to wander Septimus Knight was fined £2 and William Howan
Ailsust Wilkcning was fined 10s for cutting a corner, anrl Harry Hoffmann was convicted and ordered to pay costs for cycling at liight without a ,Jight.
