LAND DEAL CASE

JUDGMENT GIVEN

CHEISTCHUECH, This Day

. Judgment in a land deal case between Douglas George Wright and ' Hugh Black, farmors (plaintiffs) and the New Zealand Farmers' Co-operative Association'(Canterbury), Ltd. (defendant), was given by Mr. Justice Johnston in the Supreme Court this morning. The plaintiffs' claims Telated to the alleged wrongful and negligent sale of farm properties, and credits allegedly flue were involved, the amounts totalling about £13,000. The defendant coun-ter-claimed for £11,816 due under a guarantee, interest thereon, and £2234 and interest, the balance due under current account.

His Honour gave judgment for tho defendant company on the claim, and on the counter claim. Costs were allowed at £300, with hearing fees, witnesses' expense's, and disbursements which bring the total' costs to £400.
