TESTS FOR AUTOGIRO
CLOSED CABIN TYPE
CARRIES FIVE PERSONS
LONDON, April 25.
The first* multi-seated ■ closed-cabin autogiro, carrying five persons, including the pilot, will be tested next month by the Air Ministry. It is of 550 horsepower, and has a speed of 120 miles an-hour. ■.. ' • ■■ •. ■ ■■
The controls, are centred, and the machine has a "hanging joystick"" connected with rotoyanes, «which operate all movements, eliminating the ailerons and the elevators of the rudder. :"
If the test js successful the machine will be exhibited at the Air Force pageant in June. ' >
