The Government and industrialists view.- gravely Mr. Eunciman's Note to Mr. Matsudaira intimating that""- restrictions will be imposed on Japanese imports unless the Japanese formulate a proposal acceptable to Lancashire. Representatives of commerce' and- industry and the Foreign Office are holding conference on the matter.
