OUT TO BEAT THE RECORD

. LONDON, May 6. Mr. Moult in the "Daily Telegraph," as the result of an -inquiry, received from an ex-Australian at Leicester, surmises that Bradman is out to beat the record jointly held; by. Grace (1895) and Hammond (1927) of scoring a thousand runs in twenty-two days. Bromley is suffering from slight influenza, and will, not bat against Leicester tomorrow.■' ■
