AUCKLAND SALES TODAY
The third and final Auckland wool sale of the season is being held today. The catalogue for the sale comprises 15,892 bales, compared with an offering at the corresponding sale last season of 14,463 bales. The ;total offerings at the three Auckland sales this- season :. amount to 64,880 bales, against 05,891 bales in the previous season. .
The offering includes a fairly wide range of wools, this being usual. at the third sale.. There is a good percentage of inferior sorts, the finer grades being more 'limited. However, the quality generally is stated to compare favourably with that of corresponding sales in'recent seasons. Christchurch will hold; the next sales on April 6. ' ' • ••' ' ■'"•■-
