WOMAN BADLY BURNED
FALL INTO FIREPLACE

EOTORUA, This Day. • Severe burns necessitated the admission to hospital of Mrs. Mary Sunnex, aged. 42, wife of Mr. John Sunnex, living at Mangorewa bush camp, near Ngongotaha, on Saturday afternoon, when she fell into an open fire at her home. '■ ■ It is understood that Mrs. Sunnex was standing in front of the'open fireplace when apparently she was overcome with faintness and fell into the flames. Her oldest daughter, who had just left the house on her way to Eotorua, was attracted by the screams of one of the younger children. to the house, sho found her mother lying with her face partly in tho fire, and in terriblo agony. With tho assistance of neighbours,- Mrs. Sunnex was dragged fron} the fire and transferred to hospital by car. She was badly burned about the face and arms.
