AIRCRAFT DEVELOPMENT

LONDON, March 25. The "Weekly Dispatch" says the dream of an All-Bed Anglo-Australian air route has been brought nearer by the English development of a German heavy-oil aeroplane engine, which the Air Ministry- is closely watching. The fuel is light and cheap, and will enable the first stop from England to be made at Malta; thereafter all landing grounds will be in British territory.
