lUy Telegraph.—l'rest Association.l CHEISTCHUECH, This Day. "I will give you another chance, but this is the last." said the Magistrate (Mr. E. D. Mosley) this morning, in convicting Edward Andrews Morgan, aged 29, described as a sales manager, who was charged with obtaining 10s from a woman by falsely representing that he was qualified to treat nervous troubles. The accused was ordered to come up for sentence when called upon.
It was stated that the accused had boon previously convicted. He met the complainant, and said he was opening up a branch of a Wellington clinic, and obtained 10s as a deposit for a treatment. The- woman went to the address given, but found no trace of the- man. She informed the police after sho had met the man by accident in a barber's shop.
