HELP FROM GOVERNMENT
Tho claims of Pahiatua business peoplo and residents for financial assistanco to repair the damago 'caused by tho recent earthquake will shortly be placed before Cabinet. Tho Minister of Lands (the Hon. E. A. Ransom), whoso electorate includes tho town of Pahiatua, and the Minister of Education (the Hon. R. Masters) visited the district on Monday and heard representations'from a committee of citizens, and these have now been put into a form suitable for presentation to Cabinet.
