The engagement is announced of Mr. Walter Elliot, Minister of Agriculture, and Mi'BS Kathleen Tennant, second daughter of Mrs. Geoffrey Lubbock and the lato Sir Charles Tennant. Miss Tennant is a half-sister to Lady Oxford, widow of the former Liberal Premier, Lord Oxford and Asquith.
