BOY MAULED BY SHARK

TWENTY MILES FROM SEA RESCUER'S GREAT BRAVERY SYDNEY1, January 28. Continued sultry weather is keeping sharks moving in coastal river waters. Walter John McCutcheon, aged 15, was swimming at tho Lambeth wharf at East Hills on Georges River, 20 miles from the sea, last night when he was mauled by a 10-foot shark. His left arm was -badly gashed,and his breast bared to the bone. Frank Spruce showed great bravery in rescuing McCutcheon with the shark's tail lashing'his body.
