ACCIDENTS
When his car skidded and ran into a fence on the Hutt Eoad, near Thornflou, at about 5 p.m. on Saturday, H. A. Mandersoii, a manager, of 200 Coutts Street, received a cut on the head, He was taken to hospital by the FreeAmbulance. P. H. Mayer, an apprentice jeweller, of 17 Upton Terrace, had the second too of his right foot crushed at Fort Dorset at about 11 a.m. yesterday, when a gun-trail fell on it. The Free Ambulance took him to hospital. Jumping a creek in tho neighbourhood of Bed Rocks yesterday, W. T. Wholan, a gasfitter, of 130 Apu Crescent, Lyall Bay, severely injured his left ankle. A shepherd.placed him on his horse" and led it to Ohiro Bay, whenco tho Free Ambulanco removed Whelan to hospital' shortly after 3 o'clock* Later he returned to his home. Collapsing after swimming at Scorching Bay just before 6 p.m. yesterday, F. R. Brecn, a.labourer, of 150 Adelaide Road, was taken, to hospital by tho Free Ambulance. , Juno Richardson, aged 2j, -was knocked down by a bus near the Lyall Bay traro terminus at about 10.30 a.ou today, and was taken to hospital in the bus. She received head injuries and her condition is serious. in 1932 and £4,626,903 this year. Argentina .as a market,has revived, but her purchases this year have been only £9,750,504, compared with £12,049,761 in the corresponding period in 1931,----though they are better than in 1932, when they totalled £8,017,209.
