THE MARAMA'S CRUISE
. With well over two hundred passengers on board the Union Company's steamer Marama is to leave AVcllington toiiight on a cruise to the Marlborough Sounds. She is at present berthed at the Queen's Wharf, and at 7.30 tonight she will move into the stream, where a, dance will bo held before the ship leaves at 11 p.m. From Wellington the Marama will proceed to Port Hardy in D'Urville Island, and then through the Queen Charlotte, Pelorus, and Kenepuru Sounds, and is duo to reach Wellington again at 9 a.m. next Friday. Somo of the travellers have come from' as far away as Auckland and Christchurch, and a . number arc from Hawke's Bay and the country districts. WANGANELLA'S NORTHERN CRUISE The Huddart, Parker, Company's motor-ship Wanganella is to leave Auckland tomorrow afternoon on a cruise to Whangaroa, Russell, and Great Barrier, roturning to-port next Friday. The ship will have over 300 travellers on board, about sixty1 of whom are through passengers from Australia.
