Private^ advice received in: Auckland by cable states that 'Mr. "Henry Williams, o£ "Dcllside," Heswall, Cheshire, England, died at-his residence on January-18. Mr. William*; who was an ex-chairman of the Liverpool; Corn .Exchange and,- £. .-prominent sportsman, is gratefully remembered by a large number of. New Zealand exservicemen and nursing.eiiSters. ~ ; .; The beautiful country House of Mr. and Mrs. Williams at Heswall was open as a "hospitality" home during the war for between two and three years, and in that period over 150 convalescent--.Sick >a*d wounded New.
