■ .. LONDON, January 25. Offerings at the wool sales today were 10,777 bales, including 5044 bales of New Zealand. About 9360. bales were sold. A good selection of merinos .and crossbreds met with active Home and Continental competition and full recent rates were maintained. New Zealand scoured halfbred combing, "Waituna Downs," made 33d per lb highest, 31d average; greasy crossbred "AHW," sold at 20d highest, 17d average.
