MASTERTON STOCK SALE
Dalgety.-and Co., Ltd., reports' having had a'good yarding of lambs at the Masterton sale- on Wednesday. Probably owing ,j to,: the'absence of outside buyers and the dry conditions prevailing locally competition" Wig dull arid most lines were passed in at-auction. The lines were,' however, quitted,- «übiequently at the following price*:—Account T« R. Barrcr, Lowlands, 222 b.f. lambs at 15s; account J. M. Laing, The Peaks, 400 woolly wether lambs 'at 12« 6d, 84 at 12s, 27 at 12s; account W. M. Laing, Rata Hills, 114 woolly, wether lambs 13s Cd, 48 woolly ewe lambg 13s 6d, 22 b.f. lambs 11s 9d, 15 rri. e. woolly lambs 5a 9d; account Jas. Donald, Mount Clyde, 80 woolly wether Jamb*vl4s, 22 b.f. lambs 12s 6d, 30 woolly .wether-lambs.os?9d.
