PHILIPPINE LEGISLATURE
TIME LIMIT EXTENDED
1 WASHINGTON, January 23. The Senate Committee on Territories and Insular Affairs decided, today to draft an amendment to the Hawes Cutting Bill extending until October 17 the time which the Philippine Legislature can devote to tho independence question.1 The original time limit expired on January 17.
