Dalgety and Co., Ltd., reports holding its usual fortnightly sale at Taihape on Wednesday, when a small yarding of sheep and cattle came to hand. Competition was keen for lambs, there being a good inquiry with short supplies. Quotations: Shorn wi. rape lambs,. 14s; shorn w.f. medium wether lambs, 12s; shorn w.f. cull w. lambs, 9s 9d; woolly b.f. rape lambs, 17s 7d; fat cows, £2 ss, £2 155,. £3. to £3 10s; two-year empty Hereford heifers, 365; two-year empty P.A! heifers, £2 9s; Jersey heifers in profitj £2 17s 6d.
